Our next activities

While we are not rehearsing over the summer we still seek opportunities to get together from time to time. Tricia Collins is organising two walks in July and August - details to follow nearer the time.

Saturday 27 July.  A walk from Tricia's house in Bromley to Chislehurst.

  • Meet at Tricia’s house from 10.30am for an 11am start:   35, Glebe Way, Bromley. BR1 3NT (just round the corner from Bromley North station.)

  • Please let Tricia know you hope to come on the walk by texting her on 07847 679436.

  • We will be walking to Chislehurst via Chinbrook Meadow and Elmstead Woods.

  • Please bring a picnic as the plan is to picnic in Chislehurst by the pond where there are plenty of seats. There are also numerous cafes.

  • We have options re returning to Bromley. This may depend on the weather!

  • Either a bus ride or a walk following a different route……ending up back at Tricia’s house for tea and homemade barra brith.

  • The walk should take about 3 hours…there may be some muddy paths so please wear suitable shoes.

Saturday 24 August. Picnic at Beckenham Place Park with the option of stroll in the park beforehand.

Please bring bagged non-perishable food and toiletries, or if you prefer to make a monetary contribution go online to Living Well Bromley and follow the link to donate.
