February 2024: BC Wine Quiz

Friday 2 February 2024,  19:30 at St George's Church Hall

A fun social compèred by Will Parker with wine tasting, supper, and prizes.

Best played in teams of 6, so please invite partners, friends, family, or just get together with some Chorale colleagues.

Applications to enter this event are now closed, but please keep your ears open for news of the next Chorale Social.

Greenwich Walk, Saturday 24 February:

We meet in the centre of Blackheath for coffee and comfort stop in Gails or The Reminiscence Centre, 2 shops away. Aim for 10:30. The bus journey on the 54 is about 40 minutes from Beckenham (bus stop outside M&S).

We will leave at 11.00 to walk across Blackheath, and meander around Greenwich Park, to Maze Hill. Walk along the Thames Path to Deptford Creek and beyond, with food break, returning to Cutty Sark DLR.

Here, you can decide to visit the Museum or to return home via DLR or walk up the hill [Greenwich Park] back to  Blackheath and bus home.

This is a very easy and short walk and the pathways will be free of mud. We hope you’ll be able to join the group and that you’ll be able to contribute £5 towards choir funds.

Before the day, please check the details which I may need to update. I think it would be very helpful if you could tell me that you will be joining the group.

Thanks, Tricia
